USF Lecture Examines Concept Of Values

The University of Saint Francis Department of Philosophy and Theology presents “What’s This Nonsense About Values?” featuring Dr. Earl Kumfer on Sunday, April 17 at 3 p.m. in the Brookside Ballroom on the USF campus, 2701 Spring Street.

Dr. Kumfer, USF professor of philosophy and theology, will consider many current concerns surrounding the concept of “values” as he presents the roots of common confusions, distortions and misconceptions about them. He will discuss the definition of values, how they relate to actual facts, and why they seem to create controversy.

This lecture is free and open to the public. For additional information, contact Angie Springer,
