Bishop Luers High School is proud to announce that we have received a grant from the Florence M. and Paul M. Staehl Foundation with PNC as the Trustee. This grant has been used to purchase a classroom set of Ti-Nspire CX calculators for special education students. The Special Education department at Bishop Luers assists more than 40 students with an Individual Education Plan. Making technology readily available to these students will improve their ability to keep up with their peers and grow as technology grows.
We feel truly blessed to have received such a generous grant that helps further the education and abilities of our students in the program. Having access to technology and tools such as this, is an awesome way to expand the students’ abilities. We look forward to learning new ways in which we can use this technology throughout the course of this year and into next school year.
