Fans who are hungry for the baseball season to get here are in luck. Not only do single game tickets for the 2016 TinCaps season go on sale Wednesday, February 17, but fans who come to Parkview Field to purchase their tickets also will be treated to a free breakfast in the Suite Level Lounge from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
“There’s no question that the success the TinCaps have had at Parkview Field has been predicated by our fans,” said Team President Mike Nutter. “We’re counting down the days till we have them back here filling this place up again for games, so a free breakfast is just a small token of our appreciation.”
Fresh scrambled eggs, buttermilk pancakes, bacon, hash browns, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and seasonal fruit are all on the menu, along with orange juice and coffee.
Fans who can’t make breakfast on Ewing Street are still in luck if they’re looking to satisfy their appetite for TinCaps tickets.
Starting on February 17, fans can purchase tickets online at TinCapsTickets.com or by calling 260-482-6400. After 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, tickets — which start at just $5.00 — also will be available at Parkview Field in The Orchard Team Store. (Season tickets and tickets for group outings are already on sale.)
The Promotional Schedule for the 2016 season at Minor League Baseball’s top-rated ballpark features 30-plus fireworks nights, 20-plus theme nights, and 10-plus performances from national entertainment acts.
The 2016 season at Parkview Field begins on Saturday, April 9 (6:05 p.m.) when the TinCaps host the Lake County Captains (Cleveland Indians). Coming off a Midwest League Eastern Division title and a seventh consecutive playoff appearance, the TinCaps will be managed by former Fort Wayne Wizards infielder Anthony Contreras this season. The squad’s roster won’t be determined by the San Diego Padres until April, but is expected to feature many of the organization’s top young prospects.
