Free Financial Literacy Class

Brightpoint (formerly Community Action of Northeast Indiana or CANI) will host a free class about the basics of banking. The class will take place on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 5:30-6:30pm at Hopewell Pointe Community Center, 8033 Community Lane, Fort Wayne, IN 46819.

Participants will learn why banks and credit unions are safe places to store money, the benefits of using a bank or credit union, how to write a check, and how to use a check register.

This class is being offered through the Brightpoint Development Fund and is open to anyone who needs help with their finances. Attendance is free, but registration is required. Interested participants should call 260-423-3546 ext. 257 to register.
