FWCS is offering a program on safe dating and teen domestic abuse Jan. 7 at the Bill C. Anthis Center, 1200 S. Barr St. There will be sessions from 11 a.m to noon and 6 to 7 p.m. to provide students, parents and others tools they need to help recognize abuse and find support. Both sessions are free to attend and no registration is required. |
Participants will learn about the signs of teen domestic abuse; the effects of teen domestic abuse; strategies to stop violence; components of healthy relationships; and community resources and support.
