“Gift Wrap for a Reason” at Glenbrook Mall to Support Homeless in Ft. Wayne

From December 11 through 24, 2015, The Rescue Mission will provide gift wrapping services at Glenbrook Mall, across from Barnes & Noble. In addition to gift wrapping, a seating lounge and hot chocolate will be available to shoppers. Hours are as follows:

December 11-23, 2015

Monday- Saturday – 12:00pm-8:00pm

Sunday – 12:00pm-5:00pm

December 24, 2015

10:00am-3:00pm

While the service is free, donations are encouraged. All proceeds will help support The Rescue Mission’s programs for homeless men, women and children in the Fort Wayne area.

“We’re excited to be able to provide a service like this to the community that supports us so well. People can come in, relax, let us do the wrapping and enjoy a hot drink and a couch for a while,” says Richard Cummins, Executive VP of Operations for The Rescue Mission.

The endeavor will require many volunteers for wrapping, greeting, package and tag preparation and more. There are plenty of volunteer shifts still available. To sign up to volunteer, please visit www.therescuemission.net.

For more information about the event in general, please contact Richard Cummins, at 260.426.7357 ext 138, or via e-mail at richard.
