McDonald’s® High School Basketball Players Of The Month – Novemb er 2015

The Fort Wayne Mad Ants and McDonald’s have partnered to recognize two outstanding high school basketball players in the Fort Wayne community. In November, McDonald’s and the Mad Ants selected Rain Hinton and Devontae Kinnie as the McDonald’s High School Players of the Month. Both players will be recognized at an upcoming Mad Ants home game.

Rain Hinton is in her junior year at Woodlan High School, where she is averaging 19.4 points and 12.6 rebounds per game for the lady Warriors. During the month of November, Hinton recorded six double-doubles, including the team’s win over Churubusco where she registered 24 points and 16 rebounds and the team’s victory against Prairie Heights, good for 17 points and 13 boards. Off the court, Hinton maintains a 3.1 GPA in college prep courses and is ranked in the top 25% of her 2017 class.

Devontae Kinnie, a junior guard at North Side High School, opened up the 2015-16 season with a triple double by compiling 10 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists in a victory over Irvington Prep. Kinnie is also known as a threat on the defensive side of the ball, which was proven after he racked up seven steals on the way to helping North Side defeat the DeKalb Barons.
