On Thursday, November 19, 2015, at 11:30am, NIPSCO employees will present The Rescue Mission with a $15,000 donation. The Rescue Mission was selected as the 2015 Charity of Choice by NIPSCO employees in northeast Indiana. Throughout the year, NIPSCO employees from Fort Wayne, Auburn and Angola have supported The Rescue Mission through volunteerism, fundraising, and a corporate match.

Following the check presentation, The Rescue Mission will host Skip A Lunch, Feed A Bunch from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Fort Wayne residents can participate in the Skip A Lunch program by skipping their lunch (or latte) and donating what they might have spent to The Rescue Mission. For just $5, the Mission is able to provide 3 nutritious meals for individuals in need. Participants are welcome to drop off their Skip A Lunch donations at Glenbrook or donate online at www.therescuemission.net.

Both the check presentation and Skip A Lunch, Feed A Bunch will take place in the retail space across from Barnes & Noble inside Glenbrook Mall. The media is welcome to attend, photo opportunities available.
