Northeast ISBDC client Angie (Merkel) Brown of Fort Wayne was named as the winner of the recent Tiger Tank competition that provides one year of rent-free space, and other incentives, for her business to operate in space adjacent to the Wells County Public Library in Bluffton. A ribbon-cutting ceremony has been scheduled for this Friday, November 20, to celebrate the anticipated opening of Brown’s new boutique, called “RE:”, that will offer a variety of repurposed home-furnishing items as well as retro snacks, treats and beverages. Tiger Tank is a joint enterprise between the Wells County Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development and the downtown revitalization group Bluffton NOW! The total prize package was worth $40,000, according to the Tiger Tank web page. For more details on the Tiger Tank competition and the winning business, please see the attached news release.
