As a Settlers’ Plant Sale customer, we know you have visited the Swinney Homestead in the spring. And yes, do mark your 2016 calendar for the May 6 & 7 Plant Sale. But, the old house is most lovely when decorated for Christmas. “Christmas at Home” with the Swinney Sisters

The Settlers will have Fort Wayne’s elegantly decorated Historic Swinney Homestead, 1424 W. Jefferson Blvd., open on Dec. 4 from 2-4 p.m. and on Dec. 5 from 11 a.m.-1 and from 2-4 p.m. for “’Christmas at Home’ with the Swinney Sisters”. Guests are invited to bring their friends to celebrate the Christmas spirit and take refreshment of syllabub, delicious sweets and savories, and a pot of tea. A (optional) program on Christmas Traditions will follow in the parlor.
