USF Welcomes Novelist Bachelder

The University of Saint Francis School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is opening its Sullivan Reading Series for the 2015-2016 academic year with a presentation by renowned novelist Chris Bachelder on Thursday, November 5 at 7 p.m. in the USF Cougar Den on the university’s main campus, 2701 Spring Street.

Bachelder is the author of novels such as “Bear v. Shark¸” “US!” and “Lessons in Virtual Tour Photography,” as well as “The Throwback Special,” which will be published this spring and is already being serialized in the Paris Review. Bachelder’s prose is highly regarded, combining humor, sadness and loneliness.
