Radio Network Raising funds for Operation

Redeemer Radio will be broadcasting their 20th semi-annual Sharathon from both their Fort Wayne and South Bend studios on Tuesday, October 27 through Friday, October 30 from 7am to 7pm. All pledges and gifts from Sharathon fund the operating expenses of the radio network.

The Sharathon also makes it possible for listener-supported Redeemer Radio to continue to serve the community by means of Catholic radio, by provided plain truth that shows listeners how relevant faith is in today’s world. Redeemer Radio is heard on 106.3 FM in greater Fort Wayne, 95.7 FM in greater Michiana, 89.9 FM in Northwest Ohio and streaming online at RedeemerRadio.com

Redeemer Radio’s Director of Programming and Community Relations, Jennifer Zurbuch, stated that “Sharathon is a time to celebrate our Catholic community and raise necessary operating funds for the station. We are totally listener supported and challenge everyone to tune in October 27-30, 7am-7pm. Listeners will hear area priests and guests sharing the truth and beauty of the Catholic faith.” Zurbuch continues, “Each Sharathon we choose a theme, and this fall is no different. Strengthen the Family came about to mirror the two major events in our current culture. The World Meeting of the Families and the subject of the family at the Synod of Bishops. We invite you to learn ways to Strengthen the Family, right here, on Redeemer Radio.”

The 48 hours of Sharathon are filled with parishes and apostolates that are within the coverage area of the Redeemer Radio Network. While raising funds for the operation of Redeemer Radio, listeners will hear guests share their personal faith stories.
