New Crowdfunding Project To Generate Support For Summer Embassy Outdoor Performances

The Embassy is one of four organizations selected for Arts United’s new crowdfunding project, Amplify Art! The Embassy hopes to raise up to $4,800 through Amplify Art! to help pay for local performers on its new rooftop patio series in 2016, Summer Nights at the Embassy.

Amplify Art! is a social crowdfunding platform started by Arts United to turn up the volume on local art and culture projects in northeast Indiana. Donors can support the Embassy project by going online at http://www.artsunited.org/amplify/.

Summer Nights at the Embassy will take place Wednesday nights beginning May 25, 2016, 5 to 9 p.m., on the new rooftop patio at the Embassy. The Embassy would like to offer a different local arts performance for each of the evening events. When people donate online via Amplify Art!, they also can note who they would like to see perform atop the Embassy, whether it be musicians, dancers or buskers.

Summer Nights at the Embassy will be open to people of all ages. Food and beverages will be available. A modest cover charge ($3 to $5) will allow patrons access to the performances while supporting event costs.

In addition to giving feedback on artist preferences, all Amplify Art! donors will receive a full schedule of the Wednesday evening events once details are finalized.

Stay up to date and support the Embassy by becoming a member. Details at fwembassytheatre.org.
