ABOUT LAST NIGHT: The TinCaps beat Bowling Green, 4-3, in 11 innings. Each side scored a run in the fourth. Then after Fort Wayne went in front in the home eighth, the Hot Rods tied it in the ninth and regained the lead in the top of the 11th, 3-2. Rey Bruguera hit an RBI single to tie the game. With runners at first and second, Josh VanMeter dropped down a bunt that was thrown away by catcher Nick Ciuffo, allowing Michael Miller to score from second for the win.

WALK-OFF RECORD: Saturday’s walk-off was Fort Wayne’s 11th of the season — a new franchise record. The 2013 TinCaps previously owned the mark for most walk-off wins in a year with 10. For a list of the wild walk-offs this season, see Page 9.
