Mad Ants Release Their 2015-16 Schedule

The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, presented by Lutheran Health Network, will tip off their ninth season in the NBA Development League on Saturday, November 14th at 7:30 p.m. when they host the newest member of the NBA D-League, Raptors 905, at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

The Mad Ants return to action in November following yet another successful year in Fort Wayne, in which they finished the regular season 28-22 to punch their ticket to the 2015 playoffs, secured the Eastern Division title for the second consecutive season, and returned again to the D-League Championship series. The Indiana Pacers recent purchase of the Mad Ants made offseason news as Fort Wayne now serves as the official NBA Development affiliate of the Pacers.

The home opener against the 905 will be the first of 50 regular season games for the Mad Ants in the 2015-16 season. The Ants will play 16 of their 24 home games on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and fans will get the opportunity to see ten different teams take the court at the Coliseum.

The 2015-16 season will once again feature the NBA D-League Showcase, which returns to Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, California and is scheduled January 6th through the 10th. The NBA D-League All-Star Game will be played in Toronto in conjunction with NBA All-Star 2016 festivities.

The NBA D-League will again feature two conferences, Eastern and Western. The Eastern Conference consists of two divisions, the Atlantic Division and Central Division. The Atlantic Division will feature the Maine Red Claws, Delaware 87ers, Erie BayHawks, Raptors 905 and Westchester Knicks. The Central Division includes the Canton Charge, Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Grand Rapids Drive and Iowa Energy. The Western Conference is divided into the Southwest Division and the West Division. The Texas Legends, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Oklahoma City Blue, and Austin Spurs comprise the Southwest, while the Bakersfield Jam, Los Angeles D-Fenders, Idaho Stampede, Reno Bighorns, and Santa Cruz Warriors make up the West.

Join the Indiana Pacers’ affiliate, Fort Wayne Mad Ants, as they continue their hunt for another NBA D-League Championship. Season tickets for the 2015-16 season are on sale now and start at just $119. For more information, please contact a Mad Ants representative at (260) 469-HOOP.
