Tickets are on sale for Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana’s 2015 Bust a Move, an auction to raise money for local women with breast cancer. The event will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, 311 E. Main St.
Local breast cancer survivors courageously volunteered their bodies to create plaster casts of their busts. Local artists volunteered their talent to transform those bust casts into inspiring and original works of art. The artwork not only shows the beauty of each survivor, but also captures the deep emotions associated with breast cancer. These stunning works of art by local artists will be auctioned at the event.
The 2015 Bust a Move Artist are: Marcy Aldridge Adams, Edward Alvarez, Sara Auman Smith, Paul Demaree, Daniel Dienelt, Alexandra Hall, Kristy Jo Beber, Julia Meek, Kathy Minnich, Karen Moriarty, Terry Ratliff, Jerry Seabolt, Vaun Smith, Sommer Starks, Rebecca Stockert, Sarah Thompson and Theresa Thompson.
In addition to the live art auction, attendees will also be able to view the museum galleries, enjoy appetizers, a cash bar and music.
