The University of Saint Francis School of Liberal Arts and Sciences will host the next presentation in its Philosophy and Theology lecture series on Wednesday, September 23 at 7 p.m. The lecture, titled “Catholic Teaching on Marriage, Divorce and Annulments,” will be in the Gunderson Auditorium of the Achatz Hall of Science on the USF campus, 2701 Spring Street.

Father Mark Gurtner, pastor at Our Lady of Good Hope, will explore the truth of God’s design for marriage, the essential elements of true marriage, and the process by which the Church may determine that a particular marriage, although seeming to have been truly contracted, was, in fact, invalid.
