ABOUT LAST NIGHT: The TinCaps completed a sweep of the Quad Cities River Bandits with a 3-0 win. Michael Gettys gave Fort Wayne a 1-0 lead in the 3rd with an inside-the-park home run (FW’s first since Aug. 8, 2013 — Diego Goris). Edwin Moreno added an RBI single in the fifth and Luis Tejada scored an unearned run in the seventh. Dinelson Lamet tossed 5 scoreless, followed by Nick Monroe (1.2 IP) and Kyle McGrath (2.1 IP) out of the bullpen.

ON A ROLL: The TinCaps have won 5 straight and 13 of their last 15.

HOME-FIELD ADVANTAGE: The TinCaps have won 10 games in a row at Parkview Field going back to July 17. On the year, no one in the MWL has more home wins than Fort Wayne’s 37.

SCORELESS INNINGS STREAK: The TinCaps haven’t allowed a run in 22 consecutive innings entering Friday. The last run surrendered by Fort Wayne was in the seventh (of 11) on Tuesday.
