ABOUT LAST NIGHT: The TinCaps shut out the River Bandits, 2-0. Fort Wayne scored a run in the first when Franchy Cordero drew a bases-loaded walk. The TinCaps later added an insurance run in the eighth on a Ruddy Giron RBI single. Pete Kelich, in his first start at Parkview Field since undergoing Tommy John Surgery in May 2014, went 5 innings on the mound for the win. Taylor Cox, T.J. Weir, and Yimmi Brasoban nailed it down from there out of the bullpen.

Fort Wayne is in first place in the Eastern Division in the second half, while Quad Cities has the best record in the MWL this season.
