RE/MAX Ability Plus, the fastest growing real estate company in Indiana, announced today plans to expand its services for home buyers and sellers in the Fort Wayne area. The Carmel-based company, owned and operated by principal broker Jimmy Dulin, will convert RE/MAX Home Connection into RE/MAX Ability Plus effective July 1.

The conversion will add 15 brokers in the Fort Wayne area for 225 brokers total assisting clients in more than 20 counties. RE/MAX Ability Plus operates two offices in Carmel and other locations in Indianapolis, Fishers, Zionsville, Lebanon, Lafayette and Yorktown.

“The active housing market in Fort Wayne – the second largest city in Indiana – represents a natural fit for our growth plans beyond the Indianapolis area,” said Dulin. “Combining our breadth of services with an already strong office, we look forward to bringing even greater RE/MAX brand recognition and service for the home buyers and sellers throughout northeast Indiana.”

Mary Sherer, the current owner of RE/MAX Home Connection, will join RE/MAX Ability Plus as managing broker and partner of the Fort Wayne office, located at 7127 Homestead Road, just north of State Route 24. Under her leadership, RE/MAX Home Connection has been consistently ranked in the top 15 brokerages within the UPSTAR board, and was ranked ninth in 2014.

In 2014, RE/MAX Ability Plus achieved $598 million in sales volume with more than 3,200 transactions. Already in 2015, the company’s year-to-date sales volume is 84 percent higher than at the same period the previous year.

According to REAL Trends, which tracks 77,000 real estate brokerages around the country, RE/MAX Ability Plus ranks 25th in the nation with its 187-percent increase in closed transactions from 2010 to 2014 – making it the fastest growing real estate company in Indiana.

RE/MAX Ability Plus employs more agents who have earned the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) designation than any other real estate company in the state.
