The University of Saint Francis School of Liberal Arts and Sciences has announced the winners of its 5th Annual USF Research Exhibition.
Poster Content and Oral Presentation:
– 1st Place: “Correlation of Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal Score to pre-admissions variables for the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Saint Francis” (student Kassidy Beck, partnering with faculty member Dawn LaBarbera)
– 2nd Place: “Connect the dots: quantum dots” (students Brittany Nelson and Kelsey Wright)
– 1st Place: “The greenery of the blue hole: Vegetation cover study of Blue Hole Cay, Bahamas” (students Ali Meyer and Michael Thompson)
– 2nd Place: “Expert witnesses in the courts” (student Kayla Reed)
The Dean’s Choice Award went to “The effect of effleurage massage on pain, anxiety and vital signs in chemotherapy patients” by students Monica Gensic and Brandy Smith, partnering with faculty member Dawn LaBarbera.
