Mission Launches Click to Give Campaign to Feed the Homeless with a Click

Each year, The Rescue Mission provides more than 200,000 meals to the hungry and homeless in the Fort Wayne area. And now, thanks to a generous matching gift, area residents can provide a meal for someone in need without making a donation.

The Rescue Mission’s Click to Give campaign is active now through May 31, 2015. Participants simply visit the website, enter their name and e-mail address, and $1.57 (the cost of one meal) will be donated to The Rescue Mission on their behalf.

“This is such a great opportunity,” says Richard Cummins, Chief Development Officer at The Rescue Mission. “It’s not every day you get the chance to help someone in need just by giving literally a few seconds of your time. And for a lot of people, hope begins with a meal. It’s that first step toward real, lasting life change.”
