FWPD to Host 1st Annual “Light it up BLUE” 5K Walk/Run to Benefit NEIN

Autism Connection

On Saturday, May 16, 2015, the Fort Wayne Police Department, along with other area organizations, will host a walk/run to benefit the Northeast Indiana Autism Connection.

Guests will run/walk with the FWPD Recruit Class and other community partners. The event is intended to raise awareness about the disorder among individuals in multicultural communities, as well as to build positive relationships among all areas of Fort Wayne’s multicultural and diverse community.

The event will take place at Foster Park in Fort Wayne. Registration begins at 8:30am, with the walk itself occurring between 9:00am and 12:00pm. Run registration is $10 per person (includes t-shirt). Walk is free, and t-shirts will be available on a first come, first served basis.
