The Pre-Professional Healthcare Club (PPHC) from the University of Saint Francis will be hosting a fundraiser for 7-year-old Payne, Ohio resident Chase Holt at the April 30 Fort Wayne Tincaps game at Parkview Field.

Chase has been diagnosed with neurofibromatosis, a disease which results in tumor formation of nerve cells which can be painful and disfiguring. The PPHC is raising funds to help Chase and his family pay for an important treatment which will cost approximately $40,000. PPHC is selling tickets to the April 30 Tincaps game and the team will donate a portion of each ticket sold by PPHC to the Holt family. Chase, being a baseball player himself, will even throw out the first pitch.
