Huntington University To Host 59th Performance Of ‘Messiah’

HUNTINGTON, Ind. — The Huntington University Concert Choir and Orchestra together with the Community Festival Chorus present the 59th annual performance of Handel’s “Messiah.”

The performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson St., Huntington.
The event is free and open to the public.

The concert will showcase featured soloists senior Brittany Blazier, alto; senior Jacob Smith, tenor; sophomore Osvaldo Gil, bass; and adjunct professor Joni Killian, soprano. Dr. George Killian, director of chorale activities and music education, will conduct.
